I got my order in like 4-6 days I think. Install took a few hours, did it by myself with no lift or jacks. Just drove on a curb, and crawled under the car. I set mine to max 10 turns. It did reduce the throws by half. I love it, very smooth and I don't have to reach as far as with the factory shifter.

Mine is also 10 turns out. And it was shipped in 3 days. Maybe they're running low on the black *****(?) This is a vid I made when I had the handle level with the connecting bracket to the shifter. It sat really high but was really easy to shift.

Then I readjusted the handle until it was as low as you can go without bottoming out on the rubber shift boot which made the area where the upper bootcovered the handle about level with the console. Shifting was much stiffer, like just pulling it from gear to gear. No positive shift click, which I like. So I moved it to where the shift handle is about an inch below the bracket. Short throw and positive click. Perfect!

+1 on 10 turns out! Night and day difference from stock! I ordered the quicker shipping option and got it in like 3 days.

+2 on 10 turns! Kick ***!

I also have it as low as it'll go, so everything is REAL short and REAL fast.

I ordered the stops, but never ended up installing them. I am still considering it though, as I've really been ripping on it pretty hard...

Just finished the install one hour ago. The shifter is everthing they said it would be. Its quick, smooth, vibration free and quiet, unlike my buddies Steeda shifter. It took one week for delevery and two hours for the install. Follow tacobill instructions, they are right on. I turned out six turns and its perfect. Go for it, you won't regret it.

Yes, it's a beautiful thing. The only thing lacking is a 1/2' throw, which I don't think is possible with this trans lol! Believe me, I tried [8D]....

Am I correct that the more turns the shorter the throw? Or is it the opposite?

I think I'm going to go with 8 turns with the shifter about as high as stock. It's not too high IMO, now drive a V6 that shifter is HIGH !!

ORIGINAL: Aziraphale

I called and spoke to a woman but she said they'd take it off.

Tacobill used 6 turns but than backed it off a little bit because of his BMR DS Loop was making contact.
Just for my info and people who find this thread later ... you mean they took the stops off your order?
Yes, she took the adjustable stop kit off of my order .. at least I hope so. LOL!
