Default RE: Question for you "cruisers"

I have the Pypes O/R H-pipe and the Flowmasters axle backs. Lets put it this way:

When I start my car in the morning, there's a good chance that i will set off someone's alarm (I live in an apartment, outdoor parking lot).
I get compliments all the time. I had a guy follow me in a modified Dodge Ram for a mile, and finally pull up to me at a light to compliment me on my exhaust.
A couple months ago, a state trooper pulled next to me at a light and asked me to rev my engine.
At a small meet with a couple of friends who hadnt seen my stang, one of them had SLPs only on his 05 GT. His response when I turned my car and revved it to 4k was "holy s--t dude!"
I've also noticed my exhaust sounds a lot more live with my 93 Performance tune from bamachips than it does with my 93 torque tune.

If you want loud thats not too raspy (YOU WILL get trumpeting, however, so be ready for that), I'd say Flows or Stingers. The Macs and SLPs are mean on their own, mated to the H pipe and, in my opinion, they are ridiculously loud and sometimes a bit too raspy in the 4k-6k range. Good luck.

flows and macs are both chambered and it will give him that tinny sound he doesn't want. Go with the stingers some slight trumpet here and there but it sounds amazing Pypes mid muffs sound good too. I've heard both in person they'll both give you what you want, I think the stingers are a little louder though, but i'm biased

What do you guys mean by trumpeting? I want a good rumble, with lots of bass... but don't want raspy at all.

From what I've heard on Youtbue, I think my best bet is Bassani with the catted Xpipe.
