Am I just being paranoid?

Am I just being paranoid?
so at red lights i find it fun to do burnouts when taking off and ****. i tried my first rel burnout with the brake slightly depressed but was worried about my engine.
does this really hurt your engine?
i find that when i drive, once i hit 80km/h there's a really faint rumbling sensation in the pedal and steering wheel until it changes to the next gear (or whatever it changes to, it's an auto.)
after having TONS of transmission problems with 2 old cars (95 lesabre/89 deville) transmission problems are pretty much my worst nightmares. should i get it checked out? it's still under warranty and all.
ps. that rumbling sensation was present before i did em burnouts and ****.
any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

Seriously though, as the guys say, so long as the motor revs and temps are under control you'll not do much damage

dont worry aboutthe burnouts. i have an auto too and will rip burnouts and hold the brakes. you are only hurting your rear pads really. so i say keep doin the burnouts and have them replaced when they start to feel weak. also if you are good with modding you can install a linelock that will allow you to only press the front breaks and burn up the back tires.
