Default non- adjustable Tokico shocks

I know that most people on this board rave about the D-spec shocks, but I was wondeing if anyone had experience with the blue HP non-adjustable shock. Would these be recomended to be paired with the Steeda Ultra-lite lwering springs?

My car is a daily driver and I am not too concerened with adjusting the settings for racing. Does anyone know if the non-adjustable shocks lean towrds the firm or the soft side of the d-spec settings?

Thanks,
Dino

if ging nonadjustable go with bilstein due to their single tube design. if going tokico just step up and get the dspecs even though the HP's are probably better than the stock shock/strut

I was wondering the same thing but from my reading and conversations I'm going to go with the D-specs. The odds of non-adjustables giving the exact ride I want are pretty slim, so at least I have many different settings to chose from with the D's.

I'm also interested in feedback from someone who actually has the HP's, not the usual "step up" and get the D spec response.
