Default Engine Block heater retrofit

Hey guys, I didnt order the engine block heater with my car when I order her. However this winter has made me reconsider. I hate trembling for the first 10mins in the car, it was like 20F some nites and even lower.

Point being is that I did not order the engine block heater option with my car. Now I am wondering if I can retrofit it and what would it cost me? Is it something that can be a weekend job and I can do it myself? Any thoughts on the subject?

I am looking for the plug in type.

You can order the factory one from Ford still. Most block heaters are installed at the dealer even if you order it.

I can say that the factory one kicks ***. Had it plugged in at -30F and the car fired right up, and even idled down in 15 seconds.
