Default Low Tire Pressure warning

Hey guys!

Quick question, been driving my 2007 GT for just over a year now (mostly on weekends, not an everyday car) and recently got the Low Tire Pressure warning. I've been monitering the tire pressure pretty carefully, and after getting the warning, filled them up to 34-36. But the warning seems to persist. Anyone else getting this problem?

Thanks!

Have you started the car since you filled the tires? Was one of them actually low?

check for nails?? theres a good chance you got a leak!

its too soon for the batteries to be wearing out, so i'm gonna lean to the fact that theres a leak..

thanks for the replies so far;

I have started the car after re-filling the tires and still get the message. Also, they were all sitting at about 29 psi before I filled them up. There wasn't a tire with less than normal psi compared to the others. Weird!

Once in a while, after I start the car it will blink for several seconds than goes away. Pressure is all good no leaks.

it should not go off until 26 psi. It also is required to drive it to wake the sensors from battery saving sleep mode.

So you're saying that firing up the ignition isn't enough to turn off the sensor, but it might help to actually take it for a spin?

(I'd have just done that already but there's about 10 inches of new snow outside

Yes, you must drive it for a bit.

Correct.
Most likely getting the warning because it thinks the sensors arent there. Is the light just on, or flashing? Im still in learning mode on all the manufactors sensors. Too many different types
