Hey guysI recently installeda c&l racer intake with the diablo sport predator tuner 93 octane race tune.What would be the next thing to do besides gears???I had my eye on the ford racing charge motion delete plate but i read that they need a tune? does the predator bring the tune required in it already?? Thanks

 

one thing i forgot to mention i also installed the under drive pullies as well

 

No, you have to get a new tune for them.

I would go with gears before the CMDP plates personally. I think alot of people on here would agree too.

the thing is i know my gears are long i have the stock 331s but im on the highway alot and dont want to be annoyed by the motor being reved so high plus im getting almost 30 miles pergallons gas wise i get like 29.5 at around 75-80 any recommendations besides gears

 

Have you done any suspension mods like upper and lower control arms? Lowering springs?
If you want the plates, you'll need to spring for a new tune.

 

3.73 gear's are good for hwy driveing.

 

I have both gears and springs/dampers, they both have their benefits. The gears are a kick in the butt, lots of fun. But if you don't want to do gears go for the springs and dampers, man what a difference they make. The car handles incredibly well, it looks better and the wheel hop is gone. No body roll on turn in, just carves the corners. Its an expensive mod but the results are fantastic.
