Default Can't figure out what options I already have

Ok so please excuse me for sounding stupid in my following questions:

My parents bought me a 2006 V-6 Mustang recently. I just found out it is the pony package with the different grill than the other mustangs. On all of the sites I've looked at, I see that the 18" bullitt wheels only come on the GT's, but mine has them. So does this mean that the person who had it before me put them on or is there another package I was unaware of?

Also, I have the Shaker 500 system..... but do all mustangs come with the "subs"(not sure if this is the right term) in each door?(the round speaker-things down by your legs that vibrate) My friend who took a lot at my car said that I have subs in trunk also, although I have failed to see them in there. Where would I look for subs in the trunk and what exactly do they look like?

I am just having a hard time figuring out if the person who had the car before me did a ton of custom options on it or if what I just described is just a package from Ford that he got. Any ideas?

Pictures would sure help.

The shaker 1000 subs are on the right in the trunk.

The Shaker 500 system you have will have the "round speaker things that vibrate" down by your legs that you mention.

The V6's usually come with 16's stock I believe, so if you have 18 bullitt's, they were probably added on later.

If I'm wrong, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable than myself will come and let you know.

pics would help man.

but no 06 v6 came with 18" wheels.

you sure they're not the 17" bullitt wheels? they look similar, but they're smaller.

yes the shaker 500 has door subs, and the shaker 1000 has trunk subs as well. the enclosure is to the right in the trunk.

Looks like your parents bought you a nice car!

They look like 17's, but you could always look on the tire and it'll tell you the size.

yeah, those are the 17" bullitt wheels.

and yes they are optional on the V6 (which would be standard on the pony package I believe)

car looks nice though

The dealer told me they were 18". So I was asking if the previous owner could have put them on there, or would they even fit on the tires? Someone told me that bigger rims would throw off the balance of the car.

The reason I asked about the sound system is because a friend of mine was looking at one that also has the Shaker 500, and says that mine sounds a lot better than the one in there. So with the Shaker 500, there are subs in the door, but what else distinguishes the Shaker 500 from the basic stock sound system?
