When i used the tune first i loadcustom and selected 92 Octane but im using 92 octance since in Mexico we only have 87 and 92 octane. So using only CUSTOM91 octane i felt the car a little slow at first gear then so fast!! but wasnt difficult to feel it.
Then i connected the tune again and chose Pre load, i chose 91 octane but in this time i also selected CAI C&L Box and i felt the car like feather and faster.

So which is the option i must use, Custom or pre load ? and is ok using 91 octane ?


P.S. Right now i did a pre load and chose 91 octane C&L Box but then should i chose only custom and select 87 octane only ?
P.S. In mexico the octanes are 87 and 92

I wouldn't use 91 octane gas with a 92 octane tune, you're just asking for trouble. I assume that the box tune is probably the tune that came with the CAI and the custom tune is probably a tune done by a tuner company (Brenspeed, etc) more than likely the Custom tune is a better tune but it depends on how you prefer your car to react.

 

While your English is undoubtedly better than my Spanish, it's still not quite good enough to understand what it is you are asking..

But let me take a stab - I see you loaded a tune for 92 octane, and then filled the car up with 91. BAD! NEVER run gas that is lower octane than the tune you have loaded. You'll get detonation and shorten up your engine life.

If you are unsure which tune you should be loading, you should contact the tuner. Where'd you buy the gear from?

 

Don't use a 92 octane tune with 91. Use the tune made for your cai and the octane or go with the lower octane level tune.

So I got everything from Brenspeed, CAI C&L Street with SCT Tuner.

In mexico we only have 87 octane and 91 octane. Using SCT there are two options Custom or Pre Loaded.


Whchi one i should choose ? The difference i saw as that in pre load it shows the car you are loading to and thats all.


So my first load was modifying only using custom to 91 Octane but i felt the car slow.

Then i chose Preload and selected 91 octane and CAI C&L Box and thats how im running now but i want to be sure how i should program my car.

in post 1 you say you have 87 and 92 in Mexico. In post 2, you say you have 87 and 91 in Mexico. So which is it? 91 or 92? And yes, even north of theRio Grande91/92 is more expensive than 87.
