Default brenspeed tune

today i downloaded a brenspeed tune for my saleen 475 kit. the first tune they sent me caused my car to ping bad, so they sent me a revised tune, and no ping
i am sure the first tune caused the ping because oregons fuel quality is so bad[:@]

anyway the first thing is that at about 4k in second gear my tires now break loose, and that is awesome! the car def. feels stronger.

second thing is the cooling fan runs all the time. has anybody noticed this, and can i adjust the setting so the fan will turn off and on like it use to?

i believe that sethat brenspeed said they could change the setting i was just woundering if i could do it, and what do i change?

I wish my tires would break loose at 4000 rpm in second. What size of pulley are you running?

Brenspeed is great to work with.(by the way)

Are you using an sct xcal2?

Yes, you can change the fan temperature settings (high speed & low speed). It's under one of the menu selections on the tuner when you install your tune.

I would double check with Brenspeed before changing their default settings, especially with the power you're making now. My Brenspeed tune does this also, but with the Stingers I don't notice the fan noise anymore [8D]

i am using sct x cal 2 and my bfg's have about 20k on them so that may have something to do with them breaking loose, but they are not bald.

the pulley size is the stock size that comes on the 475 kit. i think 3.87.

so does anybody have any ideas on what to set the fan temp at. it doesnt shut off at all

before i would need to be reallygetting onit and shift into second hard and fast to smoke the tires through second, but know i can ease into it and then stab it and the traction light just starts flashing. fun stuff man. god i love to go fast!!!
