RE: camber and pinion angle
The angle toolI have is just a cheap protractor like thing with a dangly marker bob that hangs down and the degree scale goes around in a circle. OK, I know, thats a crappy description. I got mine at Sears. It was maybe 10 bucks. I did borrow an actual ford pinion angle tool from a friend of mine and it had the adapters to set it flush inside the u-joint socket. This tool had a level hourglass with an adjustable set screw. You set the bubble to 0 on the driveshaft and read where the bubble was at in the front and rear u-joint respectively. The most sophisticated angle tool out there is something called the "anglemaster" ifI remembered the name correctly. Its all digital and is upwards of 200 bucks! As for your camber, I'd just go to an alignment shop. I know I've seen some DIY alignment tools but nothing beats a computer alignment IMO.Of course the accuracy of your measurements will depend on how level your driveway is...

RE: camber and pinion angle
thanks guys. I was originally going to let ford do it, but first they say they don't do it on saturdays then they tell me the dealership doesn't even do them, that they send it to a local shop. They also said they wouldn't do it because the suspension was after market, even though I said I was paying for it. Anyone know of a good place to bring it locally in brooklyn new york for the alignments?
