Default RE: help

Do you have the stock head unit? 12w6, is that a 400w sub? You'll want an amp that is capable of greater than or equivalent to the power of your sub. My suggestion: if you are using the stock shaker stereo, get an amp that has speaker level input, sometimes called high-level input. That way, you can just splice into your rear speaker wires to get your signal to the amp. That's how I did it and it made installation a breeze and saved me a lot of money over having it installed professionally. Feel free to PM me if you wanna know more about doing it that way.
