Default Interior additions brought to you by...

Steeda, Redline Goods and MGW. i mentioned a few weeks ago (i think) that i was doing some interior upgrades due to the fact that my pro 5.0 had worn a hole in my original shift boot. so, here they are!

the pony emblem in the dash is from mgw (sorry the pic is so bright) http://www.mgwltd.com/mustang2005_po...let_plug.shtml ;
the shifter and ebrake boots are from redline, as is the leather console cover http://www.redlinegoods.com/index.htm ; and btw, the leather is f'in gorgeous! four-panel, black w/. dark blue dbl. stitching.
and the aluminum appointments are from steeda http://www.steeda.com/products/s197_parts_dress_up.php ; oh, and i forgot to snap a pic, but i got the 9mm bullet replacement door lock pins as well (they're sick!)

lemme know your thoughts! [8D]

How does the ebrake look when folded down?
I wanted one so bad, but I was afraid it would be too much loose fabric whenlaying down and look odd.

i was concerned about that too, but was happily surprised. the boot tucks itself away rather nicely when the ebrake is not applied. it's such a vast improvement over stock - i always thought that weird shaped thing was quite an eye-sore.

as far as the install is concerned, 2cokeman, it's not easy. the console needs to be removed, as well as the metal and rubber liner for the ebrake. it's then taken apart and reinstalled; redline has installation instructions on their website if you feel like checkin those out. and for the shifter boot, you have to peel away the stock leather one, and re-use the plastic frame. the new boot is adhered using glue (not provided), and i used little metal binder clips to hold everything in place while it was drying. but all in all, it wasn't too bad of a hassle if you take your time, and definitely worth the effort, imo.
