Default Turn signals

Just purchase my 2006 GT. Is there a way to turn off that anoying "Tick" sound when you turn on the turn signals?Tick..Tick..Tick..Tick, it drives me nuts.
i was reading the owners manual and it said there was a turn signal on reminder that would come on after X amount of time. Wondering if that itbut on al the time?

That is one of the first things I rememberwhendriving my new car was that friendly signal sound. I hate the button up the seat belt sound worse then anything. My wife is famous for not wearing her seatbeltand I wear mine but that car will remind you and continued to remind you .

Yes, pull the insturment cluster out and disconect the transducer (speaker)
that produces the various chimes, clicks and dings.
You can loose the turn click-click but you will loose all other
reminder noises as well.

the turning signal tick tick sound isn't what bothers me, it's the freakin seatbelt thing that goes off constantly, when i have someone in my car not wearing it. Worst invention by far, was that freakin crap that keeps beeping every couple of mins.

There is a way to turn the seatbelt chime off. If i remember right it should be in your owner's manual for your car. I cant remember off the top of my head what section it is in butthis is what didto turn mine off. Now as fars asthe turn signals im not sure if you can get rid of the "tick" the same way.

Hmm... I will have to go look this up. I thought i would have to unplug the wires for all the sounds if i wanted to turn it off, but didn't want that, but i will check the manuel to see if i can't turn off just the seatbelt dinger.

There is a sure fire solution to the seat belt warning.
Just reprogram the SJB not to ding them.
Its in the owners manual as to how to do itunder setbelts.
For a one time workaround, just click the
belt into the latch and them take it off.
It will stop the chiming until you start the car again.
