i just installed pypes muffler delete kit. i like the nasty sound, but i can't get the pipes to line up in the middle of the exhaust cutouts on the stock bumper. i bought the pypes hangers from american muscle, thinking this would solve the problem. but they were the same f[:@]cking thing as the stock hangers, just a different kind of metal.

any suggestions?

 

Pypes seems to be notorious for fitment issues. I personally would get another kit.

 

Dont give up hope man.... I have the same pypes and I had the same problem. I managed to get them lined up after a little bit of muscle..... They sound awesome and you love them....I opted to keep the factory hangers..... Im glad I did after hearing your description of them ...

 

ah... muscle. i'll give it a shot. can't beat the sound, though. especially the slight popping when you start the engine cold.

btw. i like the 1/4 window scoops on your car. after rear light tint, and black bullitt wheels, i'll probably buy a pair of those. how much were they painted?

 

I got them from a vendor on here. somewhere around 240-ish I cant remember....
