Ok guys and girls - need some help...

After a 10 hour road trip stopped for some gas. Just when i was leaving the station I was behind some really old guy who couldn't drive. He came to a stop at a stop sign waited on one car. Then he went, there was no other cars coming at all. Before i knew it i rear ended him. He acted like he was flooring it out from the stop sign and then he slammed on his brakes. I was looking to the left to make sure no cars where coming and going forward to the stop sign tostop.
Been driving for more than a decade and this is the first "wreck" i've been in.
Here's the result.

so here's the deal - i gave to old man $100 for his busted light on his car - no insurance being swapped. (the fault was def mine i know.)

The bumped is trash as you can see, i think the foam will have to be replaced, all the supports underneath look fine.the pass headlight appears to be ok, it has a small crack along the top but nothing huge, the clear turn signal just popped out so it's fine.the fender is alright, it MIGHT have been bent slightly but dosn't need to be repainted or fixed, it can be bent back. and the hood is almost alright except for the scratched off paint about the head light.

This is what i need help with or any input -

1. Would it be cheaper to buy an aftermarket bumper and have it painted (if so i need some good websites please) or go to the stealership and get a new one and have them paint it. or a combination of both.
2. Any suggestions for the hood? Just touch up paint for now?

Too bad its a v6, I am selling my GT one right now, not blue but w/e. Try a Cervinis bumper if you like it or try eBay for an OEM one. I would never buy body parts from the stealership unless you don't care how much you pay.

My advice? Call your insurance company and report it as well as the police. The exact thing happened to my father-in-law a couple years ago. He hit a car, the lady said she was fine. He didn't want to report it to his insurance company, so she agreed to let him pay for the repairs (it was like $700, plus a rental car). So like a year later, boom, she hits him with a lawsuit. During the time of the lawsuit, he passed away so my wife and I had to deal with all the BS from the insurance companies. We couldn't even close out the estate until a settlement was reached.

That being said, there is a reason why you have insurance. Use it. OK, I'm off my soapbox now.

Would this work for you? It is in Grabber Orange but you could always get it painted.

Yes they are.
You will need the GT grill as well.
The V6 and GT grill are different in size.
And a new foam bumper insert for
the GT bumperas the V6 insert is also different.
And the front half of the V6 wheel well
liners needs to be replaced with GT
liners for a proper fit of a GT bumper
on a V6.
But it can be done.
Sorry to hear about the accident.
Same thing happened to me. Fellow
in front guns it on the green then
slams on his brakes when your head is
turned looking to see if its clear to proceed. [:@]
