Ok, so I have searched this already and no posts give me the answer I need. I installed my Stangmods HIDs today and whenever the engine is running they turn on and off and eventually shut down. The only solution people have is to install a relay. But I have the Stangmods kit and they come with the proper relay installed already. Has anyone else had this problem with a Stangmods kit? Anyone know a way to fix it?

 

yea - mail it back to them, buy a kit off ebay for half the price that works just the same if not better and take your girl out to eat somewhere nice with the 150 left over.

 

+1. There are some ebay kits that use slim ballasts as well, for less then $200.

 

I got HIDs Retro-Solutions for about 150. No problems and pure plug and play. 30 min max install.

 

Well, problem solved. I just heard back from Stangmods and it turned out that they got a bad shipment of kits. For some reason the relay was included but not wired properly. Apparently everyone else who ordered around the same time as me is facing the same problem. I thought the issue was odd because I have heard nothing but good things about there kits. They are going to send me a new kit as soon as they get the next shipment it.
