auto fluid in a 5 speed?

napa sold me aoto trannyfluid for my 05 gt mustang5 speed (tranny is TR3650) is that right?

Should be the right stuff. Ford stopped using gear oil in their manual transmissions back in the 80's.

There is no weight. its just Mercon V ATF.

Like Ive said in many other threads, Im a strong supporter of Valvoline's Mercon V ATF. Its new, and not even on their website, but it saved the day in my Jaguar X-Type. No fluid would work in that car, and Jatco of Japan, which had the only known fluid that would let the tranny shift right, wouldn't sell the fluid to regular people. Valvoline's Mercon V ATF mix met a very rare BMW spec, which the Jag also listed as a compatible spec... So I tried the valvoline, and it worked great. It saved the day.

Works great in the Mustang too

Of course, I think redline is the best, but hard to get.
