panhard bar needed with lower the rear?
Hey guys,
Going to order a set of steeda ultra lites from Brenspeed and just wanted to know if an adjustable panhard bar is required.
I will eventually be getting new wheels, but that wont be for while. 1+ year.
Can I get away with dropping the car without the bar?
Thanks in advanced.

Some do some don't, Mine is perfect after my roush rears. 1" drop can probably get away without it, put them in & measure. It won't be so far of you can't drive while you wait for a new bar.
I dropped my car more than 1 inch in the rear and I needed the adjustable panhard bar. Mine was off about 1/2 inch after lowering. I am not sure if the ultra-lights will drop you enough to need one though.
My rear from the factory is 3/8" shifted to the driver's side; so I installed an adjustable panhard whenI did my LCAs and relo-brackets.
The car goes in tomorrow morning infact to get D-Specs and BMRsprings installed; 1.25" drop in the front and 1.75" in the rear.
With my car already out in the rear onceI throw in that 1.75" drop it would really be out.
So for me, yesI needed it.
