car went to the shop....lock light wont flash now
hey all, i got my car back from the shop about a week ago, after a lot of body work.
when i used to lock it the lights would flash with each click and one single horn honk after the second click.
now since the car is back it wont flash when i lock it at all, and honks twice on the second click....
anyone know what happened and how to fix it??? the only thing that was fiddled with on the electrical system was a new bulb connector on the passenger side turn signal (front)
thanks

Whenever my car doesn't blink and does the double honk thing it always means that one of my doors wasn't closed all the way. Not sure why it would do it after shop work though. Maybe they accidently messed up wiring somewhere. I would take it back and have them check it out.
There's a little LED light underneath your steering wheel. Behind this little LED is a button. You can hold it in and it will change from one mode to another. One mode had the horn honk and lights flash when you lock it. The other mode, which you have set on right now, allows you Mustang to lock without honking or flashing the headlights, just the parking lights. With the second mode though, the LED stays on ALL the time, even while you drive. I leave it on the non-honking mode though, as I tend to get home late a little too often.

This guy has an aftermarket alarm he thinks is OEM.

I found a hundred dollar bill inside my passengers side
door. All 05-08 mustangs have this. There is one inside
yours also. Pull the panel and look.

I'll get some pictures up guys haha. Hopefully you'll see what I mean. My brother has one as well, both '07s so I don't know if it's only from then on or what. Give me a few minutes.
Here's where the little LED is...

and pardon the blur, but the button is right here (in the circle of course.)

Just hold in that button and it will switch modes.
