Default Problems problems problems

My 2005 with 4000 miles on it has been in the shop a week!!!!
It would whine real bad at 62 MPH & up.
First they replaced the bearings. That made it whine under 60MPH.
Now they are trying to replace the rear differential.
I came on here to Tech info this morning & find out
the CD player is bad & has to be replaced & so is the fuel pump!!!!
I took the TSB print outs with me to the Dealership & they
were blown away that i had access to the info here. Never had
a customer bring in printed out TSB/much less a woman!!!!
Let me know if anyone else is having the rear end problem...[:@]

I also have a high pitched whine on my GT, most noticeable when you ease off the accelerator and the rpms coast down, at any speed for the most part. But I also had it on my V6 05, but much less pronounced.(yes I had an 05 V6 prior to my 05 GT, long story...)
If I had to compare it to anything, I'd say it sounds like a turbo winding down, onlly much quiter. Just wondering if anyone else has this, maybe it's just the sound of the induction or something. I only have 200 miles on it.

BTW, what bearings were replaced? I hope not the main and or rod bearings, I would have insisted on a new engine if so, or at least a new crank. If they tought it was the bearings, it would most likely have hurt the crank too.

this is why i'm waiting for the '06. on a complete rebuild of any car it's always a good idea to give them time to work out all the bugs.

Is there a sticky somewhere with all the TSBs? I have been unable to find a central thread with all the known TSBs.

I just went to Tech Forum to look it up.
That is where I found them the other day.
I have a friend that says a new T S B 05-7-3 dtd 3-31-05
addresses the problem with the whine in rear end
that there is a known issue and a fix. I have sent a
couple of Emails trying to get a copy today.

My dealership is lying each & every day. It now looks like
my car will be there for 3 or more weeks. I am going to
the owner of the dealership tommorrow, he is an old family
friend. Wish me luck!!! I shure have to get as ugly as I
want to with this man. But I will not hesitate!!!

I can give anyone any TSB they want. I have access to the Professional FORD technician website. Its tells you all the nice lil things that the dealership wont. lol. Im a FORD technician. I have decided to come back to help certain people. So if you need a copy of this new TSB, basically they put tuned dampeners on the rear end that take away some of the whine. Its supposed to cure all of it. Maybe you have other problems i dunno. Also there is a TSB for the fuel pump concern except they dont tell you to replace it. lol. You might be going back there.

BDtank. No one made a sticky. I asked for one, but i got nothing! All i got was the TECH HELP post section on here. So check there because i post all the latest TSBs.
