well one of my blackout covers fell off last night while i was out and they are a pain dont seem like they fit real snug ... i love the look alot but im thinking of getting some different tail lights all together let me know if u think i should stick with the covers or get these they look kinda ricey though http://www.americanmuscle.com/2005-l...ht-smoked.html

 

I personally think that the blackout look is much better than what those LED lights will give. I have the GTS tail light covers as well and I have never had a problem with them. Maybe you should try tint. It can give you a similar look as the covers in terms of darkness and it will not fall off.

 

I personally like those taillights better(the ones at american muscle). If you get them I want to see a picture.

 

it just seemed like they never where seated right well the one on the drivers side didnt the one that fell off was seated right then i took them off last night to clean in side mine are velcroed on the top and wedged underneath the light and the one that was always good fell off at some point unless some jerk jacked it when i was at the club last night

 

Personally, I thik the VHT nightshades is a better option. IT's a spray paint for your tail lights. You can lay it on in layers and go darker or lighter. Wehn ypou're done, you dhould buff them out to make them really smooth. One of the guys in our club did it to his shelby and it is awesome. Looks much better then tohose palstic covers or the film.

 

Did you use the velcro that came with it?

 

Those are 100% rice IMO, stang is a retro design and "tuner, ricer" lights don't lookgood to me but that's just me; I just don't think retro and rice mix but do whatever makes you smile.

 

What is ricey about blacking out your tail lights?

 

not crazy about the american muscle lights...just get the tint paint for your lights...
