Default Bad exhuast smell

I just had my H pipe installed in my car about 3 days ago, and ever since, I can detect a bad exhaust smell. The guy who installed my Pypes Off-Road H pipe said there was a small leak due to the fact that it didnt fit exactly right. I'm positive this is whats causing the smell. Any suggestions on fixing this problem (while keepin the H pipe)?

Mat

The oil/rust preventitive on the pipes so
they dont rust during storage before purchase.
Is this whats burning off and creating the smell?
t should go away over time.
Or its just the smell of power.

Does it smell like raw gas? Cause... It's an off-road pipe, so yeah, that's what happens.
