Default windshield wiper not working

For some reason my passenger side wiper isn't working. the driver's side operates normally, but the passenger side just kind of twitches when they are turned on. any ideas what might be wrong? I'd obviously like to get this sorted out before I sell the car[8D]

You have a broken wiper linkage.
It happens as they are designed that way.
Its Stealership time and soon before
the broken linkage destroys something
else while the wipers are working.

ugh, I loathe dealerships. is this something I can fix myself? I'm not a super mechanic but I've got basic tools and installed my CAI. I don't imagine it would be much harder than that.

Could be covered under warranty?
I'll look at the workshop manual and see whats involved...

thanks! and my car isn't under warranty anymore. I don't mind doing the work myself, I just didn't know if it required any special other than hand tools and such.
