Default Synthetic motor oil with a s/c

I've heard using a full synth motor oil can cause problems on a supercharged 05+ Mustang GT.

Has anyone else heard this before or even had their own bad experience?

S/C makes more power, power = work, work = heat
Synthetic oils are proven to withstand heat better than conventional oils
Assuming a s/c has it`s own oil supply (which many do.) I see no way that synthetic oil in the crankcase could be "a bad thing"

If the s/c taps into the engines oil supply ( some centri`s)I`d follow the recommendations of the s/c manufacturer. BUT with the high internal heat, stresses and rpm I`d still think "better" oil would be the way to go.

My Procharger P1sc uses a synthetic oil . I wish I knew what type of oil because their 4 oz bottles are expensive. To answer your question, no. I'm sure synthetic is way better to use than conventional oil.

The reason I understand is because the synth oil is thinner than a blend.

Don't GT500s use synthetic oils from the factory? As well as the Ford GT?

conventional or synthetic oil is a thick as the product label. 5w30 will have the same thickness no matter if its synthetic or conventional oil.

Synthetic = 10x better than conventional

I'm running Mobil 5w20 now.

Summer time = Mobil 5w30.

Good stuff----hands down.

BTW,

Mustang GT takes 5w20 synthetic blend

GT500 takes 5w20 synthetic blend

GT supercar takes full synthetic--9qts i think.
