Default Need Help Please

Ok so i lowered my 08 mustang, and now it seems like the front tires are a little toe'd out, and this is after an alignment from ford. Also i think that it is the right side in the front, but it seems a little lower than the other side. A half inch to be exact. What do i need to do?

Lowering a car should have little if any affect on the "Toe". It will affect the Camber however. Can you describe a little better what you mean? When you say the right front is lower...what are you measuring? Also - how did you lower your car - what springs and other items did you install?

I used the ford racing lowering springs which was supposed to lower the car an inch and a half all the way around... I measured from the bumper to the ground on both sides.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You cant measure from the bumper, front fascias are always a little tweaked, plus the ground could have been uneven. I usually measure from the upper lip of the front wheel to the underside of the fenderwell. It isnt perfect but its close

Also consider that the cars from the factory are not perfect. One side of the rear (think it was the right) was lower on my car, about 1/4 inch. Someone posted about this a while back and lots of guys indicated the same thing. So...unless its really off, like more than 1/2 in, its probably not a problem.

best way to measure your car is to park it somewhere flat and measure from the ground to the top of the curve of your fender or 1/4 panel... make sure you have equal air in all the tires... i also prefer to bounce each corner of the car by hand so the shock compresses and releases a little and settles to its own natural height... if you just had the springs put in, go drive it for a bit and slam it into some turns... brand new springs can sometimes settle... my rear roush springs settled a bit in the first couple days

Thanks for the help, but now i may have yet another problem. The front tires still seem a bit toed out, and i spoke to someone at ford and explained to him what i had done as far as lowering the car. He said something about the x5 ball joints from steeda, raising the center of gravity on the car. Does anyone know what he is talking about.?
