Glad to see you got yours in too! Let us know how much you love them!
Well since you asked here is a sound clip I made with my digital still camera in movie mode, not the best but will do for now. The Boomtubes are pretty loud but I love the gutsy deep sound they make. My car sounds pretty serious now even if the Boomtubes don't actually boost the power.

anyone having issues getting tips aligned in cutouts? I've heard a few people had to bend hangers and/or brackets for proper fit.... would like to hear from both camps (those who did and didn't have to do any bracket or hanger bending).
..... I ask because these are on my list for next mod... love my Flowmaster ATs, but need more volume. Thx.

You'll have to make the adjustment at the mid-pipe.

Completely agree.. that's exactly what I had to do with the Flows... just wondering if the BoomTubes requiring additional tweaks to get them to fix properly ?

The shop I had install mine spent a lot of time getting the tips centered in the bumper cutouts. What should have been a 20 minute install time turned into 1.3 hours of labor. The guy did a terrific job on them and I'm thankful I didn't try to install them myself. He had to use a torch on the hangers to bend them into position. Alternative Auto in Metro Detroit is very fussy about the work they do... it has to be right. That's why Lidio, the owner, has such loyal customers.

Despite the less than perfect part manufacturing, I do love the sound and would still recommend them. I haven't heard anyone else complain about this on Mustang Forums though.
