Honestly, i want to know what the hell they were thinking bolting the antennae to the trunk lid like that? They have this ridiculously good adhesive on the spoiler that i'm sure would be more than adequate. but they have to put holes in your trunk lid for this thing?! They could have even put it in the back window for all i care, but why would i want this ugly thing attached to my trunk once the subscription runs out and i don't renew it? Grinds my gears!

Mine is on the rear deck inside the car. Works good there.

 

yes it is bolted to the trunk there is a hole under the antenna that the wire goes throught that about 1/2 inch in size mabey bigger.

 

I've never considered removing it since I subscribe, but that IS pretty dumb...

 

Get it PTM or remove and do body work and stick it in the rear deck?

 

The other thing is, my dealer can't seem to figure out what my subscription username is. I can't renew it as of now, but I have about 6 months to figure it out i guess. Anyone who has it notice it is kind of echo-ish and doesn't even really sound as good as the FM band?

when your subscription runs out there will be a phone number that flashes on your deck you call them and give them some number that will flash and they will set up you an account

 

Oh good, thanks for the info. I think i might try removing it and sanding it down to see if i can't paint it to match the car. It'll make it less noticeable and be a little unique i guess. Cheapest method i can think of[:'(]
