RE: throttle body spacer????
yeah ive never really heard good abotu the throttle body or the spacer, i do know some that have a throttle body and gained about 8-10 at the wheels, but had probs after that. but about the throttle body spacer (main topic) its pointless. Ive also heard they make a very annoying whissle noise. Good luck!

RE: throttle body spacer????
I'm probably going to get flamed again, but...
I had a tbs spacer on for two years and I loved it. It does not provide a noticeable HP inclrease but it does lower the HP curve to a lower RPM range thus making the throttle response slightly more responsive. I also got between 2-3 MPG better gas mileag (combined city and Hwy). The only reason I got rid of it is because I could not get it to work with the shaker hood.
I had the Jet TBS and it has helical groves cut inside the TBS spacer. This seemd to reduce the whistling that everyone seems to complain about. I never heard any whistling with mine.
Although everyone else in this forum disagrees with me, I think they are great and serve their purpose. As long as you are't unrealistic with you expectations, you'll be satisfied. It's not going make you any faster but it makes every day driving in stop and go traffic smoother and more enjoyable and you'll get better gas mileage also.

RE: throttle body spacer????
I bought the steeda...it looked nice, but keep in mind i had a LOT of trouble trying to make it fit with an AEM CAI so it might be the same for others. The Steeda didn't whistle at all...it didn't do anything at all...lol

RE: throttle body spacer????
I have only used a TBS on my Lincoln Navigator. Could not see any gains. But, that vehicle weight about 7,000 and had a 5.4 in it. So, it sucked on gas anyways.
