Default Front tire tracking

This seems to be a common problem I am wondering if there is a cure. I have 255/45 19s on the front and no matter what PSI I set the tires to the carwants to follow all the groves in the road, some roads much worse than others. I bought the rims and tires usedand the front tires hadconsiderable wear I figured that was the problem. Then I replaced the tires and it's still there. Is this a problem I have live with? Can the alignment be adjusted to make it better?Other ideas? Right now I have the stockers on and it drives great, just doesn't look as nice. Any help is appreciated.

Yep, gotta deal with it. I had close to that size when I had by 19's, any little groove in the road the car wanted to follow.

Its a by-product of 255/45-19s.
Groove followers. Keeps you on your toes.
19" rims seem oddball size to me.
Where did you find 19" tires to fit them?
Is there as big a selection for 19" tires
as there are 18" and 20" tires?

My 275's are a pain in that respect to my previous stock 235's. I checked the bolt torque to make sure the front wheels were seated properly before I found out from talking to people that wider tires are prone to that.

When I bought my 19's (May 2006) there was a pretty good selection of tires and they weren't as expensive as 20's. A couple months ago I caught a curb and bent the lip on one ofmy rims,I was due for new tires anyway. The price on the 19" rim had almost doubled and the the tires had gone up in price by about 50%. It was cheaper to buy 18" anthracite bullitts and tire from Americanmuscle.com than to buy 1 rim and 4 tires for the 19's.

BTW, GT500's have 19's as well as a lot of European cars so they aren't too unusual, just unusual for Mustangs.

I didn't have too much trouble finding tires, I went with Pirelli Pzero Rossos, they were the same price for 18" and 20". Seem to be very common size for BMWs.

Not useless to me, very helpful, I was doing a google search and couldn't come up with the right term for it.

GT500's come with 18's actually.
19 isnt so common really. I bet most of your NTB's,Goodyears,Firestones,Discount tire's, dont have any or many 19's in stock to choose from. Dont get caught away from a big town with a flat and in the need of a replacement thats for sure.
