ever get bored of your car?
 

I drove an ls1 today... :eek: it was pretty quick...

alot of my friends have camaros and always ragg on me about how slow I am. lol

WWWWWhat should i do fellow mustang people!

I like my mustang but sittin in a camaro with t-tops today and takin 2nd gear to like 80mph was just to fun. :(

I have had NUMEROUS camaros. Dont sell your stang for one.
1. they are not near as sexy
2. they are not built as good
3. the ls1 is quick but there push rods SUCK
4. they are not as comfy
5. alot more rattles ect
6. I could go on and on
Seriously I have been through over 30 cars and so far I am really liking my gt better than any I have had

If speed is the issue.....just make it faster!:D

Remember the Camaro guys have had some time to mod their cars. Most guys I know running an LS1 are not stock. You cant compare apples to oranges.

LS1 trans am is pretty damn sexy though. :)

I would argue comfy... I hate my stang's seats. They are too "all purpose" but I understand why they make them that way.

they can't be that much faster. I mean a 2002 z28 has 310hp and 340lb and weigh a lot more then us right?

One thing to remember about a lot of this. For 500 bucks (Tune and CAI) you should have NO reason not to keep up with them. We get about double the gains for the same tune in that respect. I like to look at it like this:

Ford/Mustang people are generally pretty nice, we love our cars, regardless of the numbers they put down, we know they are fast.

Chevy people have HUGE inferiority complexes and feal the need to put down everyone who doesn't own a GM.

Personal experience, even with a stock S197 GT, you should be able to keep up neck and neck with an LS1, if you can't, he's not stock(or has a vette;)).
