Default Sprucing up the interior

I am really disappointed in how cheap and bland the interior in my 06 v6 tungsten gray vert is. I really like the IUP interiors, but unfortutely my car doesn't have it. does anyone know how I could get ahold of the door panels with the leather inserts and the dash pieces? Would a salvage yard be my best bet? What all came with the IUP package for v6's? I'm getting the information cluster for my birthday in a month, so that's out of the way? Also, does anyone have any suggestions as to what would look good in my interior? i'm always open for suggestions.

if I remember right you can't get the leather inserts unless you order a whole new door panel. I have been thinking of taking mine apart and buying my own leather and gluing it in myself.

My suggestion to you (if doing your own leather is too much for you) is swap those center gray sections with someone who has black ones. Then you both get an upgrade. Simple but classy.

Power receptical cover would be your first
move towards sprucing up that interior.
BTW whats on those AC vents? And how many
times have I told you, no drinks in the stang. [:@]
Have you checked for the mold under the
rear cup holder spacer/block off plate?

Haha, I'm picky about my car, but a man's gotta drink.

the aux 12v is open like that because I have an xm unit that normally sticks to the windshield. Notice the antenna connector hanging out by the right hand inside a/c vent.

Oh and the things in the vents are air fresheners. They're about to be gone though.

And I just cleaned the whole inside up less than 2 weeks ago, so I'm confident that I'm mold free

yeah, that's what I was saying. I always pop that thing out when I clean the inside, and also just periodocially to make sure nothing is growing under it.

It looks like you've already got the sport appearance packcage (satin aluminum on steering wheel and shifter) and you're getting the instrument cluster...so the only thing else that's included in IUP is:
Satin door handles, dash, vent slots are silver, and the leather door panel inserts.

And yeah, you'll have to replace the whole door panel, which is quite expensive.
I don't know much about getting parts from junkyards, but it would probably be your best bet, or ebay.
