Trying to load my tune onto the xcal 2... this keeps coming up




then it says "could not read device"

 

Thats better than what I get from my Mac. It wont accept there software.

 

That sucks. If someone knows how to use this stuff, let me know asap. SCT & Brenspeed are closed, and i want this thing loaded!

what happens when you plug in the tuner to your computer, does the install wizard automatically start? you need the updater and run install wizardso your computer recognizes the tuner, then the liveload should work. it took a few minutes to update my tuner before i could use liveload.

 

Yeah. Ive been busy last few days, didn't have a chance to call them. I have all 3 things downloaded from SCT's site.

This is the updater i have installed.. when i try and click upload, it wont showup my tune on my desktop, b/c my tune ends with .ll3, also, when i changed that, it showed up under the browse, but my computer is not reading the xcal2, both programs say xcal2 not found.. etc.

 

try unplug the tuner and plug it back in the computer and the install wizard should automatically run to set up the tuner, if not try run the install wizard to set up the tuner and it should just prompt you what to do to set it up.

 

how do i run the install wizard manually?

idk exactly, you might try searching for the install wizard on your computer. i'm trying to search for it on my computer at work to see how it comes up.

Anyone know if i can just send my tuner to brenspeed, and they will upload it for me? Ive heard of bama doing it...
