I'm not great on the whole gearing thing, but would the 3.55's to 4.10's mean faster acceleration, but lower top speed?

Ya I was also wondering that. Don't gears just make it rev higher or something like that. I have the 3.55, but would like to get 4.10 if it will help my acceleration. does it hurt gas mileage too?

What kind of difference will 3:55's to 3:73's make? My tuner recommended 3:73's and I want to get a blower eventually too : /...
I went from 3.55's to 3.73's. The difference was noticeable. Was it worth it, just depends on what your willing to spend. With a blower I liked the 3.73's with a manual trans.

I switched from the 3.73's back to 3.55's after I dropped in my Cobra motor. It was just to much of a pain in first on the street for me.

Yes 4.10's will curtail your top speed to some extent (I never had 4.10s so I can't say how much).

Yes it will affect your gas mileage. If you drive 65 mph to work every day your revs will go up to make that speed from the revs you are at with 3.31's, hence you will burn more gas.

At the expense of top speed?..Yes, but think how often you accelerate then think how often you reach max speed, you will definetly use the quicker accelaration more often than reaching 130 or so MPH.

I can still hit 150 with the 4:10's, just takes longer to get there once you pass 120
