do gears make a big difference
Ya I was also wondering that. Don't gears just make it rev higher or something like that. I have the 3.55, but would like to get 4.10 if it will help my acceleration. does it hurt gas mileage too?

What kind of difference will 3:55's to 3:73's make? My tuner recommended 3:73's and I want to get a blower eventually too : /...

I switched from the 3.73's back to 3.55's after I dropped in my Cobra motor. It was just to much of a pain in first on the street for me.
Yes 4.10's will curtail your top speed to some extent (I never had 4.10s so I can't say how much).
Yes it will affect your gas mileage. If you drive 65 mph to work every day your revs will go up to make that speed from the revs you are at with 3.31's, hence you will burn more gas.

At the expense of top speed?..Yes, but think how often you accelerate then think how often you reach max speed, you will definetly use the quicker accelaration more often than reaching 130 or so MPH.

yes gears make a huge diff. i loved my 3.90s. if your under 400rwhp i rec. 4.10s or 3.90s if your over i say keep 3.55 or get 3.73. im going to back to 3.55 when i get a little money
