Why is Pioneer so much better? Jw, cause the Kenwood has a larger screen and is more touchscreen than the Pioneer...or so it appears lol

everything on the pioneer is touch screen..they only give u those buttons for easy access while driving..like if u wanna turn it up or down...or to change tracks...also u have over 100 colors to pick from for ur button illumnation.

Okay, so I'm heavily leaning towards the Kenwood for the screen...but I want the Ipod screen to be as cool as the one for the Pioneer...I NEED to see the Ipod screen on the Kenwood to make a decision[8D]

I've got the kenwood dvd/navigation in my car and love the screen for the ipod. I don't know what the pioneer screen looks like with the ipod so I don't know how they compare. But I enjoy mine. I don't know how to upload pictures on to my screen though. And I had them wire the input for the ipod into my glove box, so I don't even see my ipod or have it in the way. +1 on the kenwood.

Is there a quality difference between Kenwood and Pioneer?

I have the Kenwood and I love it! I have it wired where my ipod is in the glovebox. I got the Nav w/ it and also the bluetooth. It works great and it is very easy to navigate. The ipod interface is very nice, with all the song info and album art.

Gosh, I don't have any really good pictures of the ipod screen, but here you go:

I have the Kenwood DDX-6019 (older model) but the Navigation is excellent. Nav is Garmin. I think with the current deals on the AVIC D3, it's much cheaper than the Kenwood solution. For the Kenwood, the Head Unit is about $700 and the Nav unit is around $500 (last time I checked, no one shoot me if the prices are a little off ).

Also, if the AVIC is all in one unit, it'll be a much cleaner install. I've got boxes stuffed everywhere for Bluetooth, NAV, SIRIUS, etc..
