Did you order new tunes from somewhere and upload them to your xcal?

You most likely have a different computer code than he had. Even if he unlocked it from his car it is still set to only work with one of the myriad possible computer codes. You need topurchase a new tune for your computer code.

Actually, all you need to have done is have the car returned to stock. I called sct and he jus told me to unlock it through there program. Did it. Works like a charm.

Throttle response difference is amazing. Sound changed dramatically. Noticed some faster acceleration aswell.

It'll be even better if you get some tunes actually written for your vehicle....

Interesting - is your PCM code the same as the one on the car to which it was locked?
