Weight reduction
So ive driven a few mustangs now, and i really love the new gt sound, but the car feels very very heavy. We pulled the eibach suspension from the pre-production lineup, and the car feels a bit more liveley, but im wondering if anyones attempted any real weight reduction yet and what its done for you?
your best bet on aving weight in the exhaust system is going to a lightweight stainless steel or titanium (expensive as hell) unless you are willling to spend ungodly amounts of money, you have to give something up to loose weight.

Loose the back seats, passenger seat, all three mirrors, spare tire, jack, gas tank, interior panels, speakers, A/C, radio, antenna, windshield wipers and fluid, replace the hood with carbon fiber... for starters
Why not remove the frame altogether, the headlights, get 9" wheels, and call it a dune buggy. Well, then you're stuck with getting wider tires with the sand. Oh well. I have nothing to add to this thread.
