Who has tailight tint?

I picked up a set on ebay ( you get what you pay for). They dont fit. I emailed the guy and he says there is suppose to be a 1/8 border. Well if thats true. It sure shows a of alot of red still. Plus it doesn't even fully cover the reverse clear part. So my question is, who has them and where did you get them and how much of the red is actually covered. If possible, can you post pics. Thank you

I tried the same thing and had the same results. Since I only paid $10.00 for em I just chucked em. I found painted replacement taillights on ebay. They are made by Mustang Performance Headquarters and they sell them for $150.00. I just got mine and they look fantastic and easy to install. Not sure If they are still listed on ebay but if you go to their web site, you can callthem and they may be able to help you out. Sorry I don't have any pics yet, I just got them installed yesterday, but I am very happy with the product and they have great customer service.

I met you last year at MW in Myrtle Beach, I'm the guy that lives in Pembroke Pines, FL. Looking forward to MW again this year and hope to see ya there.

Mine were just painted by a friend of mine at a body shop...they look fantastic...I would recommend the guy but he's in Atlanta...

I plan on buying some tint and doing the tint myself. To me it depends on what color mustang you have and what else you have done (blackouts panel) if it looks good or not but for me the black out tails dont on my car.

I have the vinyl ones, and yes, there is a border. How did I get rid of it? AVS makes a set of tinted bezels.. I bought those, then took a razor knife and CAREFULLY scraped the AVS logo off, stuck them on the car, and it looks great. Sorry, no pics, the car is in the body shop..
