could you be more specific - are you talking about the kind that stick on via 3m tape? Got pics?

i assume you're talkin about the 1/4 window rear louvers... perhaps the problem is that the dealership is doin it. i've never had a problem with 3m tape not working, as long as the prep is done properly. i would suggest getting authentic 3m tape yourself, making sure the mating surface is good and clean, and re-applying the louvers without the "help" of the dealership.

Exactly ^^^^. Assuming you are talking about the 3m stick on ones - not only shouldn't they fall off, they should be damned near impossible to remove. I had those stick-on ones until this week - had the Silverhorse ones installed. Anyway - the shop that did install said the old ones were a pain to remove. I would go to Autozone, spend the 3 bucks for your own roll of 3m trim tape, alcohol wipe the window real good, and stick 'em on yourself.

Are they something like these: http://wheelskin.com/dg-3180.html

If so, you got hosed by the dealer (surprise, surprise) at $495.00. But anyway - now that you've got them if you go buy your own roll of doublesided 3M trim tape, you should be able to stick them on yourself in like 5 minutes. And no - they won't fall off. Maybe the dealer was using Scotch tape or something.

It has nothing to do with the color of your car, like mentioned above it's all about prep, your better off going to your local parts store and buying some good 3m tape and doing it yourself, my louvers have been on for 2 years now with no problem.

I just installed louvers and mirror covers today. The combination of the 3m tape and 3M adhesion promoter is extremely powerful. The second I put the louvers on and pressed them into place, I gave them a little tug and they were not moving.

Take them off, buy new 3m tape, pick up 3m adhesion promoter, and as close to 100% alcohol you can, and just do it yourself.

What brand louvers are they???
I am guessing they're the Roush's... Can see dealer jacking up the price on those.

Be sure to get all the old tape off. Remove any residue with Googone or whatever. Apply in normal temperatures, not when freezing, press them on for about 30 seconds and them leave them alone for a few hours. Don't get them wet for at least a day.
