i'd recommend taking a comforter or two and throwing it on the car when something like that happens
much better to save the mustang and lose two or three comforters than having to fix all the dents. ;-)

The hood seems to be the most vulnerable part of the car for dings. Also the easiest thing to replace IMO.

It hailed here last night but I anticipated it and went
to the local drive thru bank and waited it out under
their drive thru with the goodol portable TV.
I was wondering on the way to work if the hood was more
likely to get dings seeing how its made of softer aluminum.

I know what you mean. My Stang was at work a couple weeks
ago and it hailed 2 different times. I was so nervous because
the hail was huge. Luckily I didnt get any dents.
