Default Correct wheel offset

Is the correct offset for 05+ mustang wheels 40mm? I am looking at set of Shelby razors and they are offered in 24mm and 40mm.

The correct offset is 45mm I guess.

If I were to get the razors, I'd get them in 24mm offset, because they stick out more, it looks nice.

16x7 OEM 35mm offset
17x8 OEM45mm offset
18x8.5 OEM 50mm offset

offset required is relative to the rim width

Keep in mind that the official offset doesnt look as good as the other offset of older mustangs, around 24mm... but do some searching and make your decision.

I am running razors with a 24 and 40 mm offset staggered. Click signature for pictures.

OEM 17 bullits are actually 45mm (not 40mm)

I bought AR Torque Thrust M Shelby Editions and the shop accidentally ordered the 24mm offset. They looked terrible! I had 18x9 Front and 18x10 Rear. They stuck out at least an inch outside the fender. Looked like GARBAGE. Called them out on it and they reordered the 40+ offset and all is good now.

On the 20x9 razors you can use the 24 or 40 offset. 24 offset will put the rim/tire just outside your wheelwell and the 40 offset will tuck rim/tire just inside the wheelwell. I have the 40 offset, looks better to me, but's thats your choice. Sorryno pictures computor problems.
