I am doing that..... very soon. What was the prep like and did you have to wet sand at all? Never painted parts before so let me know.

Cleaned the rims first with degreaser. Then I just sanded it with some 100 grit sandpaper when it was dry. Made sure to wipe it down well again. Taped off the tire and started painting.

Nice work...I had mine powder-coated for about $400.00 bucks, and yours turned out just as good...
