Default TPMS Sensor bands?

Group

Has anyone bought these replacement bands? From looking at the photo on www.AmericanMuscle.comit looks to me like they are giant hose clamps? I would think you would be able to purchase them at a good plumbing supply house for a bunch less! If anyone has seen them up close let me know! Is there also some sort of bracket that is included?

I bought them. They are giant hose clamps, but they also include the bracket that holds the sensor and sone 3M tape strips to help keep things from slipping.

I don't think you'd find them anywhere else really... Not too many plumbers use hose that big...

How expensive are they? I've always heard the clamp sets are pretty cheap...

Thats cheap... I just checked out an industrial supplier that I use sometimes... Up in that size range all they carry are the make your own clamp to whatever size kits and it would be about 100 bucks to get that kit.... and thats not including whatever these brackets are that they supply too... If you're going with bigger rims you pretty much don't have a choice...

I looked into getting those at a hardware store, but I couldn't find any that long. Also, it wouldn't really save you that much. If you're going to look I suggest asking for a strap to secure your water heater in case of an earthquake. Some of those kits are acually long hose clamps.
