Default Ford Fix-a-flat kit...

Hi All,
I have a 2005 Mustang GT V8. I am looking to replace the factory space-saver spare wheel with the tire repair kit that comes with a 2008 Bullitt or GT500. Basically, I want my trunk to appear like the car came from the factory with the fix-a-flat kit rather than a spare wheel.

So as far as I understand it, I would need...

1. The foam moulding to replace the wheel to stop the trunk floor from sagging.
2. The 12v pump to inflate the tire.
3. The fix-a-flat fluid/bottle to repair the tire.

...Can anyone tell what else comes as part of this kit. For instance, do you still get a wheel brace and jack?

If anyone can give me part numbers and where to obtain these parts, that would be helpful.

Even better if someone can post pictures of all the parts needed to complete the swap.

Thanks
Zektor.

I'd like to know as well...

also, does it save any weight, or is it actually heavier?

Kit - Tyre Sealant And Compressor part# 7R3Z 19L523-A
Tire Inflation kit bracket part# 7R3Z 19H364-A
Strap - Securing part# 7R3Z 19H366-A
Retainer - Lifting Strap part# 7R3Z 19H365-A

I don't have a illustration that shows how this goes in the car, they also don't illustratea filler that replaces the spare.

I can't see that being heavier. The fix-a-flat system is ok for slow punctures, nails/screws etc, but if you have a decent blowout you'll be calling mamma for help.

i would like to get a kit like this as well because i dont think the factory 17" spare is going to work well with my 20" rim/tire

Superb.

So all I would need to find is the part number of the foam filler...

Could any Bullitt or GT500 owners get some pictures?

Cheers

As an option you could always order a 12v spare kit from TireRack and circular foam from a manufacturer (I used circular 27"x6") and cut-out/cover the foam yourself (makes for a good 3pt mod if you show your car to boot)!
