Default painted valve covers

can you guys post pics of your painted valve covers. Esp white.

and what paint did you use. Sand, prime, sand, paint, wet sand, clearcoat??

Blue and with matching throttle body. Cleaned with some brake cleaner, 2 for 1 at advance when I bought it. Wired brushed every surface. Primed 3 coats, Painted 3 Coats, Cleared 3 coats. All 10 minute in between with the first 2 being real light coats and the last being heavy. Careful with the clear though, to much and it WILL turn white...

i like that blue, thats fords "Grabber Blue" right??

i was thinking of painting mine white. Since i am going with the black and white theme.

that blue looks good. I might go with white or a nice light powder blue.

My blue is called NEW Ford Blue. Dupong High Temp Paint. Took about a can each color and a 2 cans of cleaner, one for each side.
