Temp for putting on 3m tape???
I was wondering what a good temperature range for applying 3m tape. I have mirror covers, roush louvers, and a CDC aggressive chin ( that has a couple 3m strips along with the bolts). I do not have a garage to store my car in......and the highs during the day right now are only getting into the mid 40's and at nights it isdipping into the 30's. I have had the stuff in my basement since December and I really want to put it on...but I do not want the stuff falling off when I am driving.

yes, you really should wait until it doesn't get that cold at night.
While it might get into the 70's during the day soon if it gets really cold at night there might be a problem with the curing or drying process. Wait until a nice sunny day when that night's temps won't get much lower than 60.

I would wait the warmer the better the adhesion....JMO but I have alot of 3M double sided tape on things and no problems yet and it was 70+ degrees when mine was applied. I say 60+ or better and use a hairdryer to heat the metal for a while before application. Make sure everything is aligned properly before you press and hold down the part because there is not much room for error and I would use adhesion promoter first with the application of the tap! J
