I went to the track on friday, and my best run was a 13.9...

I did go with my 20's, how much would it help if i got some 17's and some drag radials out back? I want atleast a 13.5.

You would be closer to a 13 flat with the DRs, maybe even 12s with practice but the 20's are deffinately hurting you. What was your trap?

 

the 20s arent causing that high of times, you should be able to get aroun 13.3 with cai tune and with the handling pack. you need more practice i think is the biggest thing

 

Yeah idk. Like howarmat said i should be around 13.3,thats what i was hoping for when i was on my way there. 6.0 GTO's were running 13.5's, and modded evo was running low 13s. Maybe it was the track? Idk. My friend with his turbo 240sx has 260rwhp in a 2600lb car and his best was a 13.8.

 

I ran against a s/c saleen, he ran a 12.9, but i was within a car length of him. Got that on video, ill try and post it up.

 

Well it's hard to say...I bet your 60' was a 2.7 or 2.8
What did you trap? We need details.. To say it was the 20"s is almost ignorant because I saw a dually run a 12.9 with 20" dually rims and a heavy *** dually frame with its aerodynamics of a box. but he had a good 60', trapped a 107.9 and he was dialed in.. You might have alow 13sec car, but with another driver [8D]
