Default stang at stealership for a week!

well my car is getting its paint job to fix the key job that someone did to it.it quoted at $2150 and im not too happy about paying for it.. im deciding if i should get insurance to pick it up or not. its going to be in the shop for about a week to get repainted, then get the saftey recall then to fix the passenger side door handle so it springs back to flush.

in the meantime, im driving my mom's ford exploder and im not used to driving big cars. i parked like cr@p at school today and i find my self looking for the clutch and a 5-speed when im starting the car.

$2150? Wow.. I would definitely run that through my insurance.. Even at $500 deductible, it'll save you $1600.. Plus your ins will probably cover a rental car....

+1 TO EXX1976. I have USAA and have great insurance with them, but there have been a couple times I had to use them for what I pay them to do! Hell with that out of pocket thing

have insurance take care of it. I know I couldn't pay all that out of pocket myself, thats some serious mod money down the drain.

Lucky for the culprit you didn't catch him. We had some kids around where I live slash about 140 tires over the course of 2 weekends, I'm sure had I seen them near my car I would've run them down.
