and also, just so you know.. there is a thing you can buy to make it temporary and just plug into the cigarette lighter.. but it your gunna leave it in there 24/7.. just use the add-a-circuit..

what is the cigareette lighter thing called? cause im prob gunna mount it on my dash and the cig light between the air vents is convenient??

the cigarette light adapter is NOT a good thing for a real CB. you need a better ground. You need to get wire coming directly from the battery, with a fuse in it, and then install a quick release type plug. I used to use a drier 3-prong plug for my 150 watt linear.
