Default 05 Mustang GT Buying. Help!!

Im looking to buy a 05 Mustang GT, and every one around my area is around 21-23K. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS IMO. There 25 new. When I KBB them they come around to 17-18 grand.

Should I goto wherever there selling and haggle down to around 18-19? Will it work? Sorry this will be my first real car buying experience. If I really wanted too I could get a new GT for 23G with my grandfathers zplan or w/e discount. But my dad wants to buy a 05 used gt for 18-19.

Suggestions where to look? How to haggle?

Thanks much!

are you sure you are looking at private party prices???
Those sounded like used car dealership prices!
Go to www.kbb.com and search for USED Cars and enter your zip code.
Look for the model you want with about 30-40,000 miles on it, which is the range for the 2005's that started coming out in fall of 2004.
Ignore the "Excellent" box, as no used cars fit that description. But you will want to search for the "Good" price. For me, here in L.A. it only $17,860 for a GT Premium with 36,000 miles buying from a private party. If the car had anything wrong with it, like a scratched up bumper and wheels, I'd offer the "Fair" price.
But if you live in a big state don't be afraid to search far and wide, especially in areas hit hard by foreclosures! Here in Calif, if you want a deal, you'd check the Inland Empire. There are thousands of foreclosures there but only 2 here in Brentwood
